The Insurance Association of Cyprus is the trade association for the Cyprus insurance industry. Its member companies account for about 95% of the insurance business in Cyprus. 

The main aims of the Association are:

1.    To represent members' interests to Government, regulators, Parliament and other Political and trade bodies and to help develop their international activities. The Association influences the development of policy. It also constantly monitors proposed legislation, regulation, taxation and other policy measures. Insurers' views are put across promptly, forcefully and effectively.

2.    To promote the concept of insurance through the media, consumer organizations and through other channels.

3.    To provide its members with a wide range of services, including technical guidance, statistical information, e.t.c.
